FCR Announces New Expansion To North Carolina.
The Company Will Offer Work From Home Jobs in the Rocky Mount Region
“We are very excited to expand our operations into the state of North Carolina,” said FCR President and Founder Matthew Achak. “Since September of 2020, FCR has been expanding our footprint into new regions all over the country. During that time, we’ve had substantial interest from both our clients and local communities to grow into communities that are more diverse and in need of new economic opportunities.” He added, “The city of Rocky Mount is located just 1 hour outside the Raleigh metro area. It fits perfectly into our business model of offering customer service and technical support careers to those living in smaller communities that are near larger metropolitan areas.”
Achak continued, “Rocky Mount shares many of the same characteristics with our other communities. It’s full of hard-working people looking for new career opportunities and a solid career path for the future. We are confident Rocky Mount will provide us with plenty of good candidates who have the skills we are looking for. We can’t wait to bring new opportunities and jobs to the area.”
Matt Trebb, Group Vice President for FCR, added, “We are excited to bring new job opportunities to the community of Rocky Mount. We offer all our colleagues the opportunity to build stable and long-lasting careers that utilize their many talents. We are excited to bring those opportunities to North Carolina.” He continued, “We are confident Rocky Mount will provide us with some great new colleagues, and we can’t wait to jump in and get started.”
The expansion is part of FCR’s ongoing effort to bring opportunities and jobs to diverse communities in need. FCR recently announced similar entries into Michigan, Idaho, and Wyoming in the Fall of 2020. It has since hired more than 450 new employees in those regions.
“I am grateful for the economic development and jobs that FCR is bringing to our community and thrilled that our sales pitch to them to expand to Rocky Mount was successful,” said Rocky Mount Mayor Sandy Roberson. “Their success in smaller communities like Rocky Mount is exciting and welcome news. In addition, especially during this pandemic, a good job that is done from home that also comes with great benefits will make this opportunity sought after by many potential employees. These jobs will be filled quickly.”
“We are excited to welcome FCR to our community,” said David Farris, President/CEO of the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce. “Their excellent reputation in coming into a smaller community like Rocky Mount knowing the difference it will make with our workforce as it relates to new jobs. Rocky Mount is known as one of the top five small cities to work from home in the United States, and we are a perfect fit for FCR’s workforce requirements.”
As many businesses struggled to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic’s daunting challenges, FCR decided to pivot to a Work from Home business model in March of 2020. In the process, they have preserved nearly every job. They have continued to grow and add new positions at an exponential rate. FCR will offer entry-level Work from Home positions for hundreds of new Customer Service Representative positions in the Rocky Mount area. FCR anticipates that positions will be available in early March of 2021 and will be taking applications at that time. The new jobs will eventually include Supervisor, Program Manager, and other leadership positions in addition to the entry-level positions.
To be considered for a position, candidates will need a high-speed internet connection from their home. However, FCR will provide all the necessary computer and telephony equipment.
