ROSEBURG, OR – January 2, 2015
FCR, the premier provider of outsourced live agent call center and business process solutions, revealed today that colleagues from its Veneta contact center partnered with two organizations during the holiday season to assist local families in need.
“We had two different initiatives in the month of December to help local children and families this year during the holiday season,” said Krystina Burns, Director of FCR’s contact center in Veneta. “We setup a Giving Tree in our office to provide gifts to 17 children that we sponsored for Christmas gifts through the Department of Human Services Foster Care program. Those gifts were then distributed to families at the DHS Holiday Party for foster children.”
In addition to the partnership with DHS, a group of employees from the Veneta center also volunteered their time to help wrap gifts for families during a gift give away with the S.A.N.T.A. program, or Sharing Among Neighbors Toy Appeal. The S.A.N.T.A. program is a community based non-profit organization located in Veneta that provides gifts for families who do not have the resources to buy gifts for their children for Christmas. In 2014 the organization was able to provide gifts to 607 children and helped more than 250 families in the area.
“Being an active part of our communities is at the core of our company values,” said John Stadter, CEO and Co-Founder of FCR. Stadter added, “Any time we can find time to participate in community events, or help during in a time of need, we will take the opportunity to do what we can and lend a helping hand.”
“At FCR our colleagues are a reflection of our community, and we’re very proud that we have so many colleagues who volunteered their time and their resources to help those in need,” said Katheryn Carnahan, COO. “The community of Veneta has given us so much and it’s nice to be able to help out and give back where we can.”
